Primal Fear is chock full of good acting by good actors and we all like it enough as a courtroom thriller that *we don’t spoil the ending* - so see it. It’s fun. It’s also a great companion piece to The Exorcism of Emily Rose, also starring Laura Linney as an attorney in a trial involving the Catholic Church.
We including extra housekeeping tonight and discussed The Order, A Knight’s Tale, Coco, Letterboxd, Bug, Big Trouble In Little China, The Polar Express, sledding, the Tile, extra car keys, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, A Wrinkle in Time, workplace frights, Tom Cruise in The Mummy, Channel Zero: Candle Cove, Dave Shumka, the lunacy of hunting rodents, the pros and cons of revealing ones true self at work, Slate Plus, conspiracy thriller movies, Lovecraft, Laurie Kilmartin’s book “Dead People Suck,” The Cloverfield Paradox, Black Mirror, Ben’s Vortex, the Winter Olympics, The Crash Reel, Shaun White, televised darts competitions, and the Assassination of Gianni Versace.
